1943 M4A1 Grizzly Sherman
So you want to buy a tank. Who doesn’t? No more traffic jams! Up for auction, a 1943 M4A1 Grizzly, the Canadian version of the WWII Sherman medium tank.
Powered by a Continental-built 975ci Wright Whirlwind nine-cylinder radial engine, a Spicer five-speed manual transmission, this classic vehicle comes with a demilitarized 75mm main gun, a propane-fired .50 caliber replica machine gun and a dummy .30 caliber machine gun in the forward hull.
The engine has been serviced by previous owner, olive drab exterior was also refreshed, interior was repainted in white. This is only one of less than 20 M4A1s that are known to still run. The hull, still in panzerfaust-proof condition, presents no dings, dents or scratches except for some minor damage repair on the left-front corner. Check it out on BaT.
