McIntosh MHA200 headphone Tube Amplifier
The McIntosh MHA200 is a compact headphone Tube Amplifier. A pair of 12at7 dual triode vacuum tubes pre-amplify the sound and a 12bh7a drive the output to the headphones with minimal distortion, enhanced by McIntosh’s unity coupled circuit output transformers to deliver pristine audio.
The head amp comes with a variety of connectivity options. Two Balanced XLR inputs are coupled with 2 unbalanced RCA inputs. Outputs are delivered by two 3-pin balanced XLR connectors – left and right, a 4-pin balanced stereo XLR connector, and a 1/4 stereo headphone jack.
From the control panel not only you can control the volume and put the unit in standby mode but you also can adjust headphone impedance between ranges of 32-100, 100-250, 250-600, and 600-1000 ohms at 500mw which should suit most headphones on the market. This is one of most glorified headphone amps out there. Check it out on mcintoshlabs.com.
