Breitling Super Chronomat B01 44 with UTC module

Breitling is reintroducing its Super Chronomat model with UTC module, one of its most striking and iconic chronometers since its debut in the 1980s.

The Chronomat B01 44 UTC is actually a set 2 watches. The main piece is housed in a 44mm – 14.45mm thick stainless steel case with sapphire crystal, black dial with 3 sub-dials in white color.

The chrono is powered by the COSC-certified automatic Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, which provides a whooping 70 hours of power reserve.

Bezel markers or “Riders Tabs” at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock are interchangeable, so they can be used for countdowns or count-ups.

The second piece is a small watch with its own crown, dial, bezel, and Caliber 61 miniaturized quartz movement embedded in a Rouleaux stainless steel bracelet.

Dubbed as “UTC-module” and originally intended to keep Universal Time Coordinated time, it can be also used to keep track of a second time zone.
