Restored 2008 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport 2.1

Introducing its “La Maison Pur Sang” in-house restoration program, Bugatti reacquired the prototype of the 2008 open roof Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport 2.1 and restored it to a brand-new condition.

This particular sample was the first ever Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport prototype, sold an operated as an unregistered demo car. According to Luigi Galli, head of La Maison Pur Sang, no sooner the restoration was finished, “the car rapidly attracted attention from a number of captivated collectors, as was acquired almost immediately”.

In this restoration project, body panels were removed and repainted, the interior received a period correct center console and fresh carpet and leather. All the aluminum parts are also new. Check it out on bugatti.com.
